Sheikh Ali Bin Hamad Al Thani serves as the Chairman of HBK Contracting, one of Qatar's largest civil construction firms, founded in 1970 and employing over 7,000 people. The company specializes in major infrastructure projects for prominent clients such as Ashghal, Qatar Rail, Qatar Petroleum, Msheireb Properties, Kahramaa, and the Doha New Port project. Under his leadership, HBK Contracting has successfully executed significant contracts, including the $53 million Lusail Katara Towers basement works, the $634 million Umm Slal Mega Reservoir project, and a nearly $2.5 billion design-and-build package for the Doha Metro’s Green Line.
